A Word From the Woods....
A Brief Guide to Surviving People Who Are Wrong
Step 1: Remember that they are beloved children of God.
Step 2: Remember that you are a beloved child of God.
Step 3: Consider the disturbing possibility that you might be the one who's wrong.
Step 4: Ask a question before making a speech.
Step 5: Listen to the answer.
Step 6: If all else fails, eat together. It's much harder to maintain a good dividing wall when someone passes you the dessert.
This Sunday we'll continue Conversation Across the Aisles with "Breaking Down the Dividing Wall," based on Ephesians 2:11–22.
Maybe following Jesus isn't about figuring out which side of the wall God is standing on.
Maybe it's discovering that Jesus has been taking down the wall all along.
