BWCC offers a safe, inclusive, and meaningful place to be yourself and grow into the person your authentic spirit and heart wants to be. All teens and pre-teens are welcome to the Team:Youth events. At BWCC you aren't just a face in the crowd, you are an important part of a team!

OF COURSE we will be playing games and noshing on s'mores, but we also have some decisions to make about Kennywood Phantom Fall Fest and Zombies of the Corn. Confirmation, Spring Retreat,
and more are all part of the discussion as well.

Confirmation
Confirmation is a time for young people to explore the Christian faith, ask honest questions, and consider what it means to claim for themselves the promises made at their baptism. It is not about having all the answers or passing a test. It is an opportunity to learn, wonder, grow, and decide what it means to follow Jesus as part of the church. This opportunity is open to all youth in 6th grade and up.
During our time together, we will talk about God, Jesus, the Bible, prayer, worship, the sacraments, serving others, and what it means to belong to the church. We will make room for questions, including the difficult ones, and explore how faith connects with friendships, school, family, decisions, and everyday life.
We will work with participating families to develop a schedule that is manageable for everyone. Our hope is to begin meeting in the coming months and celebrate Confirmation during worship on a Sunday in May. Young people and families who are interested, or simply want to learn more, are invited to contact Pastor Cyndi at Pastorcyndibwcc@gmail.com.
